Too fast!
I don't think i'm eating enough now O_O, i've lost now 14 lbs since my surgery on the 1st of april...
and i'm not even that big to start with so this doesn't make sense! I know i'm still swollen and all but I am trying to eat every 5 meals a day but when I do I can only eat/drink the littlest amount! about 1/3 to 1/2 what I'm supposed to. I'm worried i'm going to stuff this up, I know it may seem great to loose that much in just over a week, but it scares me a little. I was told that it would be around 4 to 6 lbs in the first week or less!
Is this unusual? I don't know what to do :(
Also, I'm sooo thirsty!! i'm trying my hardest to get down the 1ltr of water a day but when I do drink its like i can only have 3 sips, then my tummy hurts so i wait 15 minutes, have another 3 sips, Its driving me insane! I can't quenche my thirst at all!! will this ever get better? Will i ever be able to drink a glass of water normally??

it really does take some "practice" to work up to the ammount you should be eating...
I know we had different surgeries, but my surgeon was more concerned with me getting enough fluids in for the first couple weeks...sip sip sip all day hun...
as the IV fluids you had pumped in are passed out of your body, you'll se a difference on the scale...
in the mean time keep up the good work!

You're doing just fine! I am 7.5 weeks out and yesterday was the first day I actually got in all the calories I was supposed to. It was a miracle, I really don't know how I did it. As for as the water thing, it takes time. That was my biggest concern right after surgery. Now at almost 2 months out I can take a normal sip without feeling overstuffed. I can't chug a whole glass of water, but I can drink a lot more than I could fresh post-op.
